Piezo elements come in handy when you need to detect vibration or a knock. You can use these for tap or knock sensors pretty easily by reading the voltage on the output. They can also be used for a very small audio transducer such as a buzzer.

- The Piezo Element can also be used a trigger, by detecting when pressure is applied to the element. A small voltage will be produced as the pressure on the element changes.
Please remember this is a piezo element, you will need to have an external driver circuit for the piezo to operate as a buzzer, please DO NOT SIMPLY ATTACH A BATTERY TO THE LEADS, NO SOUND WILL COME OUT.
